VINCI Park UK, the specialist parking operator, has won a new contract with the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Under the deal with company will provide a complete car park and security management service at the UK’s leading biomedical campus, which employs 8,000 staff and has nearly 600,000 visitors each year.
The contract, previously operated by APCOA, was awarded after a competitive tender process and will see nearly 40 new staff transferred into VINCI Park’s business.
VINCI Park will offer a high-quality 24/7 security service, which will include campus CCTV, control room monitoring and foot patrols. Additional services include traffic control, enforcement and traffic marshalling to prevent abuse of disabled and other designated spaces, to improve traffic flow, and to keep blue light routes flowing freely. The contract will last for a minimum of five years with the potential for a further two-year extension.
