A new specialist mental health residential service for women is set to open later this year in Lancashire, as part of an ongoing commitment to expand high-quality mental health provision in the UK.
Bilberry Lodge, located in Rishton, Lancashire, will offer a purpose-designed, six-bed residential facility for women requiring specialist mental health care and support.
The service is being developed by Active Care Group, a national provider of complex care services, with headquarters in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The facility is currently undergoing development to create a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment tailored to the needs of women with complex mental health conditions.

Once operational, Bilberry Lodge will provide specialist support for adults experiencing a range of conditions, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
A multidisciplinary team comprising managers, mental health nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and support workers will deliver comprehensive, personalised care for residents.
The service will be registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring it meets rigorous standards for safety, care and support.
In addition to clinical care, residents will be encouraged to engage in a range of activities, develop new skills and pursue hobbies as part of their recovery pathway.
