A pioneering new facility, made possible by The Grand Appeal’s enduring partnership with Jingle Jam, is set to revolutionise patient care at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
The ‘Jingle Jam Building’, named in recognition of the charity’s generous support, has so far raised over £2.2 million towards the project.
The Patient Hotel, designed by Inspire Architects, will provide a home-from-home environment for children and their families.
The submission of the planning application marks a significant milestone in the project’s development.

The Hotel will offer 12 en-suite bedrooms designed to support young patients transitioning from hospital care.
The facility will also include a gym and therapy area to aid rehabilitation, as well as a purpose-built kitchen for dietary education tailored to specific medical needs.
Additionally, specially designed landscaped gardens will provide a tranquil space for relaxation and recovery.
This innovative development aims to ease the transition for children moving out of a clinical setting, ensuring they continue to receive essential therapy and support while staying with their families.
