Cedars-Sinai has opened its first flagship outpatient clinic outside the US with the launch of a new facility in London’s Harley Street Health District.
The Los Angeles-based academic nonprofit operates the western US's largest hospital, focusing on pioneering research, cardiology, and oncology.
The new Harley Street clinic will offer primary care and diagnostics, along with second opinions and consultations to Cedars-Sinai specialists in Los Angeles.
Cedars-Sinai said the clinic has created 11 clinical and operational roles, with additional recruitment planned as the site expands operations.
While the clinical team at the Harley Street facility are all UK-based physicians, the site will work as a bridge model to connect patients to second opinions, specialty consultations and referrals to physicians in LA.
Patients in the London clinic can be connected remotely to specialist physicians in LA, and through a coordinated referral they can travel to LA for treatment as needed.
The clinic, located at 76 New Cavendish Street, provides primary care, executive health and concierge medicine services for patients in the UK and international travellers.
The facility includes four private consultation rooms and on-site diagnostic services, including DEXA, ultrasound and echocardiography.
Cedars-Sinai Clinic London told Building Better Healthcare that patients do not need to already be existing Cedars-Sinai patients in Los Angeles in order to receive care at the London clinic.
As a private outpatient clinic, patients can access services through self-pay or private health insurance, depending on their individual coverage and eligibility.
The launch comes as private healthcare demand in the UK continues to grow, with more than 7 million people holding private medical insurance.
The organisation entered the UK market in March 2025 through a collaboration with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, establishing its first clinical presence in London at a smaller site on Wimpole Street.
Cedars-Sinai said London was selected for its first flagship international clinic because of the city’s position as a global healthcare centre and the concentration of private medical providers in the Harley Street Health District.
They also said that Cedars-Sinai already has referral offices in Mexico, Singapore, Qatar, China and Ecuador.
