Siemens updates image reporting application
Enhanced syngo-via multimodality system unveiled
Siemens Healthcare has enhanced its syngo.via multimodality image reporting application.
The VA11 update offers radiologists a raft of benefits including reading efficiency to assist with report turnaround time and to help ease costs; an expanded number of clinical applications, more than doubling the previous portfolio; and broader multimodality support.
The system can either be used as a standalone device or integrated with a variety of other applications from the range, including zero click integration to Siemens’ PACS solution syngo.plaza. Furthermore, the use of syngo.via Mobile Applications streamlines workflow and enhances productivity and information efficiency, allowing clinicians inside and outside the hospital to securely access images and reports in a standard web browser or through mobile devices such as iPads or iPhones.
The latest version also introduces the availability of multi-server configurations, allowing customers to increase throughput and capacity, while maintaining seamless integration.
“We are proud to release the update to our UK syngo.via customers,” said Ronan Kirby, syngo business manager at Siemens Healthcare. “The latest version of the platform features a number of benefits to clinicians as they strive to streamline workflow, not least the functionality allowing them to securely and safely access images via a web browser, regardless of whether they are within the confines of the hospital or not.”
