MAXIMS Electronic Patient Record system rolled out in all departments of Jersey General Hospital as part of island's digital health transformation

Jersey Royal Hospital has gone live with MAXIMS’ Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution, marking a significant milestone in the Government of Jersey’s digital health transformation programme.

In October 2021 the Government of Jersey selected IMS MAXIMS as its preferred EPR supplier.

The collaboration supports the Jersey Care Record and propels the island towards achieving the highest level of digital maturity, HIMSS Level 7.

The IMS MAXIMS team was on site throughout the go-live process, working closely with the Jersey team to ensure the best transition possible.

The resulting EPR solution provides a safe and paperless clinical record, supported by a comprehensive patient management solution, ensuring enhanced safety and efficiency in healthcare delivery.

“This go-live represents the beginning of a journey and partnership that will help us achieve our ambitious digital health objectives”, explained Ricardo Silva, digital nurse and EPR clinical lead for the Government of Jersey.

Neill McAnaspie, managing director at IMS MAXIMS, added: “This has been a monumental achievement and an incredible milestone for the Government of Jersey and IMS MAXIMS, who have worked in partnership together to successfully deliver the programme and we will continue to collaborate to ensure its continued success and delivery of future functionality.

“Our collaborative approach has ensured we have leveraged the experience of both organisations’ multi-disciplinary teams, bringing experience from a wide variety of clinical, administrative, and technical settings.”
