P+HS has announced that planning has been approved for a new medical centre in Middlesbrough.
The planning centres around a three-storey building that will provide GP services and a pharmacy on-site. This build will also be in a location which is easily accessible by the local community.
"As well as targeting BREEAM Excellent, the design criteria focuses on placemaking with a contemporary material palette that references the area’s history which aids with legibility and wayfinding," stated P+HS.
Working closely with South Grange Medical Practice, alongside a comprehensive team of consultants, the proposals have been developed by P+HS to accommodate a new, purpose-built facility, replacing the ageing building currently occupied by the medical practice to provide a much-needed community asset that meets the needs of their growing patient list.
