Launch of Nuffield Health’s diagnostic suite
New facility opens in Manchester
Nuffield Health is opening its state-of-the-art diagnostic suite at Citylabs on Oxford Road in Manchester.
The 7,279sq ft diagnostic suite will deliver world-class MRI, X-ray, mammography, CT and cardiac and ultrasound services. In addition to the scanning facilities, Nuffield Health will also deliver health assessments, physiotherapy services and private GP appointments at the suite as part of its complete approach to health and wellbeing.
The suite was officially be opened by Commonwealth and Olympic athlete, Diane Modahl, chief executive of the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation in Manchester, a charity which champions undiscovered talent and brings high-quality athletics coaching and mentoring opportunities to both able-bodied and disabled young people.
Complementing Nuffield Health’s existing offering in Manchester, which includes fitness and wellbeing centres, physiotherapy services and a medical centre, the diagnostic suite will further the vision to work in partnership towards improving the health and wellbeing of all residents of Manchester.
Further to this, a planning application was submitted in November to Manchester City Council to build a state-of-the-art hospital and wellbeing centre on Hathersage Road, due to open its doors in 2018.
