Tarkett UK has reinforced its service offering to architects and specifiers thanks to numerous changes made to its sales team, including a newly-appointed regional sales manager for the South and the recent arrival of a new sales manager for Ireland.
Steve Urwin, marketing manager at Tarkett UK, said: “These new appointments are key for our ever-expanding sales team. They follow a re-organisation designed to further strengthen our position as a top flooring company in the South, a crucial region for us, as well as throughout the rest of the UK and Ireland.”
He added: “At Tarkett UK, our mission is to deliver the ultimate flooring experience by providing top-quality, innovative solutions that can fulfill the specifications of any project. With these positive developments to our sales team, we can ensure that Tarkett UK continues to support its product offering with expert knowledge and advice as part of a dedicated service.”
The new appointments include Samantha Boyd as Regional Sales Manager for the South of England. She will continue to focus on developing specification in London and will also retain responsibility for the specification-driven Tandus range of hybrid residential sheet and carpet.
Having been a part of the Tarkett UK team for almost 10 years, she has built up a wealth of sales and management experience in the flooring industry, leading the housing sales team as well as developing the national specification team.
New arrival, Tom Mockler, recently joined the Tarkett UK team as sales manager for Ireland with a strong background of commercial experience in the flooring industry. Bringing these advanced skills to the team, he will assist with the continual development of the Tarkett brand in an important market.
New developments also see Stephen Kemp, regional sales manager for the North and Scotland, take on additional responsibility for the Midlands area.
Urwin said: “Tarkett UK is thrilled to bring Samantha, Tom and Stephen’s wider experience and talent to our already-expert sales team. We’re confident these changes will bolster our customer service for specifiers and other buyers, which is already like no other.”
