Tarkett’s commitment to providing high-quality flooring solutions to the healthcare sector has been recognised with the manufacturer once again being listed as an approved supplier on the ProCure22 framework.
Supporting the framework since its first inception in 2016, Tarkett is committed to the research, development and manufacturing of flooring solutions that improve clinical outcomes and support staff, visitors and patients alike.
With millions of square metres of flooring installed in the healthcare sector, Tarkett’s broad-ranging portfolio – covering vinyl, linoleum, safety, carpet, static conductive, wet room, wall coverings and accessories – provides a solution for every area of a healthcare facility.
It also offers both CAPEX and OPEX options to meet the specific project needs and its Healthcare Colour Palettes have been approved by the Department of Health.
Recent healthcare projects taking advantage of its innovative flooring solutions include Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, and Glenfield Hospital in Leicester.
And Tarkett was the first flooring manufacturer to remove Phthalates from its collections, with TVOCs 100 times lower than the strictest European standards.
And its ‘People Friendly Spaces’ ethos means it is known for using healthy materials that make a positive contribution to people and the indoor environment.
Elizabeth Butcher, Tarkett segment marketing manager for the UK healthcare sector, said: “Modern healthcare facilities must provide high-quality patient care while reducing operating costs, lowering their impact on the environment, and striving to humanise healthcare in a highly-medicalised environment.
“We understand the specific needs of the healthcare sector, and as a result we’re committed to delivering flooring solutions that improve clinical outcomes.
“Our healthcare ranges have been designed with patients, and care staff, in mind, considering heavy use, safety, comfort, and infection control requirements.
“And all of the products we offer through our healthcare portfolio also contribute to patient recovery and medical staff efficiency.
“We have supported the ProCure22 framework since it came into effect and to be included on the list of approved suppliers is a testament to our expertise and knowledge of working with healthcare providers.”
