A £3.25m medical facility will open its doors in Barnsley town centre next month, creating capacity for 4,000 extra patients.
The newly-built 40,000sq ft Burleigh Medical Centre will bring together two existing GP surgeries operated by the Park Grove General Partnership.
The group is opening the new centre to improve the efficiency of local healthcare services.
The new site will include a pharmacy, a large car park, and 1,000sq ft of space available to let by allied healthcare providers.

The development of the practice was supported by funding from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.
Dr Sumanth Chikthimmah, a GP at the practice, said: “Relocating the two sites under one roof means being able to provide improved services and facilities in a convenient and accessible town-centre location.
“This exciting project, which has been many years in the making, will be a huge boost for the people of Barnsley.”
And Malcolm Swan, senior healthcare banking consultant at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, added: “The Park Grove General Partnership is a clear example of a thriving healthcare provider growing to meet the increased needs of patients across the region.
