Assura Group has completed its latest development, an integrated health centre in Silsden, West Yorkshire.
The 16,000sq ft facility was delivered in partnership with Ashley House at a value of £3m. Now fully complete, it will offer patients a range of services and practitioners in one location, functioning as a combined practice for nine GPs and four nurses in the local area.
The new centre has consulting and treatment rooms, a minor operations suite, an independent pharmacy, and a podiatry unit, and will also function as a local hub for district nurses and health visitors.
Amanda Roddy, development manager at Assura Group, said: “The integration of primary care resources provides convenient and effective care to communities across the UK. The completion of the new Silsden Health Centre means that the practice can now extend the highest quality of facilities and streamlined services to the surrounding area.”
Jeremy Pullan, practice manager at Silsden Health Centre, added: “We’re pleased to see our vision reach its final phase of completion, with the car park and building works now fully complete. Assura Group and Ashley House have created a modern facility which will cater for a broad scope of requirements and will have an invaluable impact on delivery of care in the community.”
