Polyflor has announced the launch of its spectacularly-colourful new homogeneous flooring collection, Palettone PUR.
The premium range offers a full spectrum of colour, with 50 shades to choose from including classic neutrals, soothing pastels and daring brights.
Featuring a non-directional, semi-matt emboss for the even distribution of light reflectance; the palette is split into seven colour groups - Cool Greys, Warm Greys, Greens, Blues, Pink Purples, Yellow Reds and Beige Browns.
With each Palettone design being made up of a solid colour base and complementary toned highlights; the collection includes shades designed to inspire healthcare projects, such as Lunar Landscape, Festival Field, Faded Denim, Sugar Candy, Cayenne Heat and China Clay.
The subtle tone-on-tone designs in the Palettone range means it is a perfect fit-for-purpose floor covering solution for dementia-friendly environments.
Designed for contemporary interior design schemes in healthcare and other commercial, settings; durable Palettone sheet vinyl flooring has a 2mm gauge and features a high-quality, cross-linked, UV-cured polyurethane reinforcement that protects the floor covering by resisting soiling and scuffing. Combined with a superior closed surface finish, this enhanced PUR protection allows the use of a polish-free maintenance regime for the lifetime of the flooring.
Carefully selected by Polyflor’s product design team, each Palettone shade works beautifully on its own, when installed alongside other complementary or contrasting shades, or as part of a bespoke waterjet design created by Polyflor in-house Design Service.
All 50 Palettone shades are available in 2x20m sheet format, while 12 of these shades are available in 608x608mm tiles and six are available in an SD sheet specification.
Polyflor Static Dissipative products are engineered for use where static control is required, so Palettone SD is ideal for use in healthcare facilities, such as scanner rooms, X-ray suites and operating theatres.
Tom Rollo, Polyflor’s marketing manager, said: “With the new Palettone collection we wanted to offer customers our widest variety of homogeneous vinyl flooring designs to date, with a shade available to complement every interior design scheme imaginable.
“As with our other commercial vinyl ranges, Palettone performs to a high standard, has excellent durability, is easy to maintain and provides endless design opportunities.”
Palettone is 100% recyclable through the Recofloor vinyl take-back scheme and contains recycled material. The collection has also achieved a generic BRE A+ rating in major use areas, helping to contribute points within a BREEAM Assessment for a building. Palettone also achieves Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification for low VOC emissions, an internationally-recognised indoor air quality standard.
