South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a contract to Miller Healthcare Partnerships Solutions (HPS) for a £40m redevelopment scheme. Arranged as part of the Procure 21+ framework, the works are predominantly refurbishment and mechanical and electrical across the estate. Commenting on the win, which is the first Procure21 project for the company, Miller HPS director, Andrew Cartwright, said: "We are delighted to have been appointed for this five-year programme of work. We anticipate to be starting the first phase of works at Torbay Hospital in September this year." The first project at Torbay Hospital will see the provision of a new boiler house and services infrastructure.
