Castleoak has made a number of key appointments to support its five-year 2020 business growth strategy.
The appointments strengthen Castleoak’s development team as part of its plan to significantly grow its market offer in the development of care homes and assisted living.
Doug Jones joins the operational board of Castleoak as development director. He will lead the development team to deliver services including land sourcing and acquisition, demographic analysis, securing planning permission, and creating tailored funding solutions.
He brings extensive experience, having worked within the retirement living sector for over 30 years.
Ben Davies and Philippa Keogh join as development managers, with responsibility for delivering projects from initial site finding through to exchange of contracts.
Oliver Smith joins as real estate surveyor, responsible for managing Castleoak’s investment properties, reporting to the board and funding partners.
Together they bring over 27 years’ specialist development experience to the team. Davies has worked in social housing and for one of the UK’s-leading residential developers and, as chartered surveyors, Keogh and Smith bring in depth knowledge of the development process.
Commenting on the appointments, Castleoak chief executive, Craig Currie, said, “It’s an exciting time to be joining Castleoak as we expand our offer to our clients within the care and retirement living sector. These key appointments will serve to strengthen our team and accelerate our development offer to our customers.”
