Ultrafabrics has expanded their Uf Select range into clinical healthcare, giving designers a durable, comfortable, and easy-to-clean material solution for demanding environments. Backed by five years of real-world use and advanced testing, Uf Select is suited to applications across healthcare interiors, from waiting areas to patient rooms.
Developed for specification without compromise, the collections combine artist-inspired colour, layered texture, and the quality and comfort expected from Ultrafabrics.
Created in collaboration with Ultrafabrics’ North American partner mill, Uf Select reflects an appreciation for craft and material expression.
Its colours, patterns, and textures draw from artisanal techniques and traditional handicraft, from the earthy yellow of Van Gogh’s sunflowers to the subtly distressed layers of collage.
The range comprises three distinct collections, Montage, Lino, and Concept Pro, each offering designers a different visual language for healthcare spaces.
Montage offers a natural, subtly distressed look with a weathered surface that suggests the depth and layering of collage.
Lino is inspired by finely cut linoleum printing, creating the impression of a textile weave through a refined two-tone crosshatch.
Concept Pro adds PFAS-free ink and stain-resistant technology for environments that require added protection.
Performance is central to Uf Select. All fabrics are created with the precision, detail, and innovation that have defined Ultrafabrics for more than 25 years. Uf Select collections achieve 10 weeks of hydrolysis resistance, which tests how the fabric performs against heat and moisture, the main causes of coated fabric failure, as well as 150,000–200,000 Martindale abrasion resistance. The collections are easy to clean and care for, including with a 1:10 bleach solution, and are free of PFAS, PVC, plasticizers, and formaldehyde. They contain no Red List chemicals and are REACH compliant.
