Pland Stainless, an independent producer of stainless steel products for the healthcare industry, has appointed a new sales director.
Jamie Fisher, who is originally from Leeds, returns to the city to join the firm from his position as national sales manager for Methven UK, and will play a key role in helping drive the company’s growth plans.
Working closely with the owners of the business, managing director, Steve Duree; and operations director, Ian Hodgson, Jamie's role will be pivotal in the development of new and existing business both in the UK and further afield, with a particular focus on the healthcare market.
He said of the new role: “Pland Stainless is extremely well respected in the industry, and that reputation has been built through a substantial portfolio of quality products over almost 100 years, so I’m really looking forward to joining such a reputable company.
“However, even with Pland’s established position in the sector, the directors are hugely ambitious and recognise the company has fantastic potential to grow, and I’m looking forward to contributing to that growth, especially in the healthcare sector.”
