Jenx, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of postural support furniture for disabled people, has expanded its marketing team with the appointment of Simon Cooke.
He becomes the company’s new design and communications executive. His remit will include content delivery in areas such as digital marketing, graphic design, product literature and video, while also providing strategic support in areas such as product development, customer service and marketing communications.
He joins the company after successfully completing his digital marketing diploma through the Chartered Institute of Marketing last year.
He said: “This is a very exciting time for Jenx as a company. There is a clear emphasis on matching the quality of product with the needs of the end-user, while also taking into consideration wider pressures such as budgets and the changing healthcare landscape.
“It’s my job to make sure that we communicate this approach effectively to our audience, from end-user and parent or carer, to education worker and physiotherapist.”
Catherine Jenkins, director and joint founder of Jenx, added: “Simon’s appointment is another really important step for the company in building our marketing and communications team. His extensive skill-set will enable us to deliver key messages to our customers much more effectively, both offline and online, and we’re really pleased to have him on board.”
