Promoting best practice and celebrating achievement
Event Director Mel Sands said: “There aren't many opportunities to celebrate your achievements, but this is definitely one of them! Putting forward your achievements and innovations for an award allows your contribution to advancing good design and delivery in mental healthcare environments to be recognised.
“But it’s not only about the kudos of winning or being nominated. It’s also about sharing the lessons and outcomes with the amazing community around Design in Mental Health, who have the will and ability to learn from others’ success and translate those learnings into sector-wide best practice.”
There are a range of ways that initiatives entered for the Design in Mental Health Awards are promoted to professionals across the mental healthcare sector.
Event Communications Manager Will Jeffries said: “All shortlisted entries will benefit from multi-channel promotion to the Design in Mental Health community around the world.
“Winners and highly commended entries will be presented at a vibrant and inclusive ceremony at Design in Mental Health on 3 June 2025, attended by hundreds of colleagues from the healthcare sector.
“In addition, selected winning entries will be invited to share their ‘Success Stories’ at a special panel discussion at Design in Mental Health 2025, with subsequent coverage in The Network magazine, the journal of the Design in Mental Health Network.”
