Olympus has launched its latest audio recorders.
With the VP-10, the company introduces a completely-new product category – a voice recorder designed in the discrete slim format of a pen.
The VP-10 has a lean pen-like design and is equipped with high-sensitivity stereo microphones for crystal-clear 360-degree recordings. The Olympus VP-10 digital recorder is the first of its kind to offer Anti-Rustle technology in a compact, slim body, making it the ideal device for premium recording, even when in the user’s pocket.
Forget about being weighed down by a recorder, at only 1.3 oz in weight, the Olympus VP-10 allows for light-weight, hands-free recording. Paired with three settings of Anti-Rustle technology – high, low and off - the VP-10 is the perfect recorder for setting and forgetting in the user’s pocket, coat or bag. This latest innovation in audio recording prevents common device rubbing and brushing from getting in the way of capturing the highest-quality sound.
Packed with 4GB of internal memory, the Olympus VP-10 allows for 1,620 hours of recordings before having to download files to your computer. Once the user has finished recording and ready to share, simply use the VP-10’s Direct USB Connection to download audio files.
The new WS-852 and WS-853 digital recorders were conceived for the perfect capture of meetings, lectures, and conversation. They are both equipped with a True Stereo Mic System and their dual stereo microphones guarantee high-quality, low-noise recordings.
With a 90°-degree layout, they are ideal for capturing voice input from several people in a room, such as during meetings. The mics provide a realistic stereo feel to make it far easier for the listener to correctly attribute the contributions being made among those speaking in the recording. The Intelligent Auto Mode also ensures that recording levels are automatically adjusted to optimal levels.
The WS-852 provides 4GB of storage space for 1,070 hours of audio capture. The rechargeable WS-853 even features 8GB memory for a correspondingly higher maximum recording time.
Likewise equipped with the handy Intelligent Auto Mode, the VN-741PC incorporates a low-noise omni-directional microphone for recording sound from all directions. Users can select between simple and normal mode for operation. In simple mode, only basic information is shown on the display in large text to enhance intuitive operation. This makes the VN-741PC an ideal day-to-day companion to take along everywhere.
Thanks to their built-in USB interfaces, all four new audio recorders can be effortlessly connected directly to a computer to transfer recordings without the need for cables. Battery charging is also possible in this manner for the VP-10 and the WS-853.
