Forbo Flooring Systems, a manufacturer of high-quality commercial and residential floor coverings, has launched its new Surestep Balance range.
The Surestep Balance range is a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) compliant safety flooring that can fit the aesthetic and functional requirements for dementia-friendly environments.
Surestep Balance has been designed specifically with dementia-friendly environments in mind.
The new range features eight colour-ways with a subtle speckled, minimalist matte effect.
Additionally, all Surestep Balance floor coverings have a PUR Satin Pearl finish, offering stain, chemical, and scratch resistance.

The PUR Satin Pearl finish will also make the floor covering easy to clean and maintain across its entire service life.
Further, in terms of sustainability, Forbo also boasts the lowest embodied carbon of any safety vinyl available on the market, without offsetting.
Lewis Cooper, Senior Marketing Executive, from Forbo Flooring Systems, said: “We’re delighted to be introducing Surestep Balance to the market.”
“There is a clear need for floor coverings that can cater to neurodiverse conditions, such as dementia, whilst also fulfilling all important safety requirements,” Cooper continued.
“With our Surestep Balance collection, you’re not only getting a true safety flooring, but one that prioritises the wellbeing and safety of those using it too,” Cooper concluded.
