NHS Suffolk has unveiled images of the new health centre proposed for Sudbury. The design, which is awaiting planning permission, incorporates suggestions made by the local community and, if given the go-ahead, it is expected to be completed by late autumn 2013. Mark Marshall, head of corporate development and infrastructure at the PCT, said: "The growing and shifting population and a need to update some of the old health care buildings in the area demanded a solution that delivered real benefits to local people. This new building will see services that are currently provided from Walnuttree Hospital, Acton Lane Clinic, St Leonard's Hospital and Siam GP practice moved into Sudbury Health Centre."
