Community Health Partnerships (CHP), a UK-based health and social care facilities provider has announced the appointment of Stephen Talboys as its new Chief Property Officer.
Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer – Campus 2030 for the Open University, Talboys will officially take up the role on 1 May 2025.
This executive appointment also sees Talboys join the CHP Board of Directors. He brings extensive experience in property leadership, asset management, and public-private sector collaboration.
Wendy Farrington-Chadd, Chief Executive Officer of CHP, welcomed the appointment, stating: “I am delighted to announce Stephen’s appointment as CHP’s new Chief Property Officer. This is a key role leading our operational delivery and will work in partnership with key stakeholders and partners across the public and private sectors to ensure the LIFT buildings continue to meet the needs of patients and the local NHS, now and in the future.”

Talboys will officially take up the role on 1 May 2025
Talboys is anexperienced property executive, chartered surveyor, and chartered engineer.
With a career spanning over 20 years in property leadership, he has managed the development of university estates, overseen large public-private regeneration programmes, and led property-related initiatives for private sector organisations.
Talboys’ career has focused on bringing together public and private bodies for co-investment, leveraging technology for smarter asset management, and leading high-performing teams to deliver outstanding projects and services.
