Building Better Healthcare has rounded up the tech companies selected by the NHS and other healthcare providers for technology projects in February

Building Better Healthcare has taken a look at the latest technologies NHS Trusts and other healthcare providers have integrated into their systems to advance their digital evolution in February 2025.

In February, the Health Innovation Consortium (HIC), a collaborative initiative designed to accelerate innovation within digital health and healthcare technology, launched the Electronic Patient Records (EPR) Network.

A key objective of the EPR Network is to improve interoperability between digital health systems.

Ensuring seamless data exchange across different platforms will enable healthcare professionals to access comprehensive and accurate patient records, regardless of the system in use.

This will significantly enhance patient care by reducing the risk of errors and ensuring healthcare providers have timely access to critical information.

The NHS Long Term Plan places a strong emphasis on the digital transformation of healthcare services, including the integration of data-driven decision-making and the expansion of digital services.

The EPR Network aligns directly with these objectives, providing support to NHS England’s ambition of building a more efficient, data-driven healthcare system.
