Intastop has begun offering the Tubocolor range by Ponte Giulio; a renowned manufacturer of grab rails that are warm-to-the-touch, have antimicrobial protection, and anti-slip credentials, bringing a new dimension of safety and infection control to more elements of building interior specification, in both new-build projects and refurbishments.
“We are delighted to have formed a partnership with Ponte Giulio whose range of grab rails are in synchronicity with our own range of products,” said Lisa Turner, marketing manager at Intastop.
“They complement our range of door and wall protection and the antimicrobial properties that these products offer allows us to extend and enhance the solutions we have for the care home and healthcare sectors where such requirements are in high demand.”
The Tubocolor range features Biocote technology, which kills 80% of microbes within 15 minutes and 99.9% within two hours, and which will last the lifetime of the product.
The grab rails are different to any others on the market as they are also warm-to-the-touch and have a non-slip-yet-smooth finish.
The range is also available in a variety of colours suitable for dementia care facilities and offers adaptability for interior schemes and brand continuity.
Furthermore, they are coated in vinyl and offer a non-porous finish unlike other comparable products which are often powder coated.
And all of the products meet with the guidelines in Approved Document M of the Building Regulation and British Standards and, are tested up to 250kg and meet stringent loading guidelines up to 150kg.
“Finding products that bring solutions to our customers is very important to us as we continue to develop our range, and Tubocolor emulates exactly what we do,” said Turner.
“It will give us greater diversification to be able to deliver complete specification solutions in bathrooms and other areas where grab rails provide much-needed stability and confidence to those accessing the areas.”
