Intouch with Health has been selected for use at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust to support the digital transformation of its Outpatient department.
Flow Manager and Room & Resource Manager modules will be introduced at University Hospital, Coventry, the Hospital of St. Cross, Rugby and City of Coventry Health Centre to help deliver an improved experience for patients while alleviating pressure on its admin and clinical teams.
Flow Manager – a central digital dashboard accessed by staff across the Outpatient departments across the Trust – will allow teams to monitor the location and status of each visiting patient in the department throughout the duration of their appointment.
Staff at the Trust will also benefit from Intouch’s Room & Resource Manager module, which allows staff to book and manage the capacity of available rooms across the Outpatient departments to maximise room usage and resources.
David Warburton, Regional Sales Director at Intouch with Health said: “The Flow Manager and Room & Resource Manager modules will help the Trust maximise resources and room allocation and ensure the efficient and timely use of space across all Outpatient departments.
“For example, staff can search available rooms, and a calendar highlights available slots automatically with dialogue boxes for staff to instantly add meeting details. Emails can also be sent within the system to notify the meeting organiser of any amendments, and colour coded alerts inform staff of meeting room status in real-time.
“Streamlining clinic room and resource bookings using Room & Resource Manager uses digital innovation to simplify those time-consuming tasks that often take longer than necessary, and real- time updates allow available resources to be managed more efficiently and effectively.
