Leeds-based OneMedicalGroup, the independent healthcare solutions company, has announced the appointment of Dr Jim Gardner as group medical director.
Dr Gardner, an experienced GP and former NHS England medical director with over 20 year’s experience, joins OneMedicalGroup as part of the senior leadership team. He will be tasked with leading on clinical governance, quality and safety across the business. He will also be supporting the local lead clinicians in each of the organisation’s 12 different services.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining OneMedicalGroup as we are committed to developing primary care clinical services throughout the country. My experience of the NHS and as a general practitioner, will allow me to drive our patient-first ethos and support the company’s ambitious plans for innovation and growth in the future. I am looking forward to developing new models of clinical service excellence across the group. “
