Nuffield Health has announced the appointment of Matthew Lynn as its new chief financial officer.
Having taken up the role on an interim basis in December last year, Lynn is joining the charity on a permanent basis and will lead the finance, legal, and risk teams.
He is a qualified accountant with 16 years experience and specialises in financial leadership in healthcare and not-for-profit organisations.
He joins the charity from international professional services firm, PwC, where he was a senior leader in the healthcare division.
Steve Gray, chief executive of Nuffield Health, said: “I’ve been incredibly impressed by Matthew’s professionalism and energy since he joined the charity on an interim basis in December last year.
“He has already made a real impact to how we operate in the short time he’s been with us and I am delighted that he’s chosen to join us on a permanent basis.
“At Nuffield Health we are on a mission to build a healthier nation, widening access to our health and wellbeing services to help more people live healthier, happier lives, and Matthew is fully behind our mission and will play a key role as we increase our reach and support the health and wellbeing of people across the UK.”
