The New Hospital Programme (NHP) is inviting suppliers to an East of England supply chain event focused on five major hospital schemes being delivered under the programme.
The event will take place in Norwich on 17 September and will bring suppliers together with the trusts and construction partners involved in the projects.
The five schemes are:
- Hinchingbrooke Hospital, being delivered by Kier Construction
- James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth, being delivered by Skanska
- Milton Keynes University Hospital, being delivered by Morgan Sindall Construction
- The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn, being delivered by Skanska
- West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, being delivered by DRAGADOS Sociedad Anónima.
The event will include presentations from the lead construction partners, with guidance on how suppliers can position their organisations for potential opportunities across the five schemes.
The NHP said the event is intended to support engagement with the regional supply chain as the projects progress.
The event is free to attend, although places are limited and registrations will be subject to confirmation. Attendance is limited to two people per organisation.
Registrations close on 28 August.
The NHP has also confirmed that the event does not form part of a formal procurement process and that attendance will not provide an advantage in future contracting.
The event follows the NHP's move into formal delivery of its first wave of schemes, with construction partners now appointed across the programme.
The East of England event will provide suppliers with an opportunity to hear directly from the construction partners about potential work across the five projects.
