James Spencer & Co's award-winning, quick-to-clean infection control range of Stalham products is continuing to gain rapid momentum in a growing number of NHS trusts across the UK.
Trusts that have already reaped the benefits of using the multi-purpose Stalham - a three-in-one unit that functions as a standalone commode, over-the-toilet mobile sani-chair and shower chair - include Bradford, Sheffield, Newcastle, Sherwood Forest, Tayside and Borders & Medway, with many others expressing ‘serious’ interest.
The Bradford-based healthcare furniture and equipment manufacturer reports that increasingly large volumes have been sold since the Stalham was first introduced only a few years ago.

James Spencer’s Stalham was the top-rated platinum medal winner in the Infection Prevention and Control category of the Nursing Times Product Awards.
The judges said: “This product has the potential to make a huge impact on patient care, due to ease of cleaning and the ability to swap individual parts, and it is recyclable at end of product life. It could be used across the whole spectrum of care delivery.”
The Stalham is fully synthetic and constructed from a high-impact plastic material. It does not rust, scratch, bend, dent or peel, is chemical resistant, easy to clean, hygienic and economic.
