Product to aid monitoring and logging

Electronic Temperature Instruments has launched a new Bluetooth wireless temperature probe for monitoring and logging.

Combined with the BlueTherm software or App, it will securely transmit temperature data up to a maximum of 20m to any Android, Windows CE mobile or Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, PDA or computer.

The probe incorporates a fast response thermocouple that allows the user to measure temperature accurately over the range of -49.9 to 249.9 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C. Each probe also incorporates a red and blue LED. The blue LED indicates Bluetooth comms transfer, while the red light indicates on/off and power status. In addition, the probe incorporates a rechargeable battery.

A company spokesman said: “The BlueTherm is ideal for HACCP controlled food process or food service environments where efficient and accurate temperature acquisition is critical.”
