Neoventa introduces STAN S41 Fetal Heart Monitor
Device designed in conjunction with Sunray Medical and incorporates St Analysis
Neoventa has today announced the launch of its new STAN S41 Fetal Heart Monitor.
The STAN S41 was developed in collaboration with Sunray Medical Apparatus Co, and is the only cardiotocograph monitor in the world that incorporates ST Analysis.
ST Analysis is an evidence-based method that gives a continuous and central message from the fetal heart during labour.
“It is a great support for the obstetric staff and provides, ‘a second pair of eyes’,” said Ulf Järnberg, chief executive of Neoventa.
“The evidence has shown applying ST Analysis as an adjunct to CTG results in significantly fewer babies born with oxygen deficiency, and a reduction in operative deliveries.
Observational studies have also shown a reduction in the rate of C-sections.”
For the past two years, Neoventa has been collaborating with Sunray Medical Apparatus Co; one of the world's-foremost providers of fetal monitors. The partnership combines Sunray's expertise in CTG monitors with Neoventa’s patented STAN technology to add ST Analysis for today’s increasing demands in obstetric care.
