Just 7 days to go until BBH Awards shortlist is unveiled
Judges to meet on 12 September to announce entries through to the next stage of the competition
This time next week the judges will have chosen their shortlist for the 2012 Building Better Healthcare Awards.
The seven-strong panel, chaired by NHS commentator, Roy Lilley, will meet next Wednesday (12 September) to decide which entries will go forward to the next stage of the competition.
The shortlist will exclusively be announced on the BBH website on the morning of Thursday, 13 September, with the successful projects, products and people then going through to the final.
The identity of the eventual winners will then be announced at the official awards ceremony on 7 November at The Brewery in central London, for which tickets are already beginning to sell out.
The judges are previous BBH Award-winning architect, Andy Law; Dr Roy Macgregor; healthcare market access specialist, Jon Wilks; patient safety expert, Patricia Young; NHS commercial director, Kevin Oxley; King’s Fund Enhancing the Healing Environment programme leader, Sarah Waller; and patient representative, Danny Daniels.
They will be choosing their favourites in all 14 main categories in classes covering building projects; technology, equipment and medical devices; sustainability; patient environment; futures; and people.
Already more than half the tables at the 500-capacity event have been booked, so to avoid disappointment save your space now.
