The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is transforming its document management and workflow processes by choosing the next-generation EDMS solution, MediViewer.
The solution, which is being deployed in the trust’s emergency department, will be aimed initially at improving the document management and workflow processes around the trust’s casualty cards and has scope to be extended out across further areas of the organisation.
Matthew Kybert, deputy chief information officer at the trust, said: “The EDMS system from IMMJ Systems appealed with its flexibility to integrate seamlessly with our existing app estate through APIs, its web-based functionality, and mobility.
“The simple, intelligent matching of scanned records also meant less time for staff scanning in CAS cards.
No two trusts are the same, which is why MediViewer has been built specifically for healthcare providers and is designed around the needs of each individual trust
“We look forward to working with IMMJ Systems and integrating MediViewer with our existing clinical systems”
One of the key advantages of MediViewer is that it utilises completely-open product architecture and APIs to support integration with other clinical applications, including the MESH and MIG to receive and export information, for example discharge summaries, into the primary care setting with ease.
Jamie Hall, head of sales at IMMJ Systems, said: “The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a clear and well-defined vision on its Digital Transformation Journey, and we are absolutely delighted that MediViewer is going to be a key part in these plans.
“While initially starting in the emergency department, we are supporting the trust around what an enterprise wide model will look like.
