Future Perfect Healthcare has announced the expansion of its team with the recruitment of Steve Pillar to the position of senior interoperability and integration engineer, and Assia Moujdi as graduate software developer.
These key appointments demonstrate the company’s strength of ambition as it sets about its mission to drive change through innovation in the health and care sector.
Pillar began his career as a management accountant with the Post Office, before moving into IT and brings 15 years of healthcare IT experience to his new role, the past seven of which were focused on integration development.
At Future Perfect Healthcare his focus will be on working with NHS organisations up and down the country to break down siloes and bring systems together.
On his appointment, he said: “I’m thrilled to take on this role at such a pivotal moment when it comes to the interoperability and integration of our health and care services.
“The company’s focus on the impact that AI can have in healthcare was also a real draw for me as it has the potential to transform patient care and outcomes.
“To work for such a forward-thinking company which has a clear mission is very exciting, and I know we’ll be able to make a big difference to NHS organisations, clinicians and patients.”
Coronavirus has sharpened focus when it comes to digital transformation in the health and care space; and we want to seize the opportunity to partner with our customers on delivering real change
As Future Perfect Healthcare develops its own product strategy, it has appointed Assia Moujdi to the role of graduate software developer, reporting to Pillar.
Assia Moujdi
Moujdi joins the company fresh from her degree studies, having attained a BSc in computer science from University of East London and a MSc in Systems Software Engineering from University College London.
During her Masters, she participated in two IBM projects which gave her first-hand experience of applying innovative tech solutions to healthcare challenges such as selective mutism and mobility in stroke sufferers.
“Personal experiences, combined with my time on the IBM projects during my studies, are fuelling my passion to pursue an IT career in healthcare where you can really make a difference to people’s lives” she said.
“I’m really looking forward to working alongside the rest of the Future Perfect Healthcare team, our partners, and customers to realise the true potential of technology in health and care.”
Commenting on the expansion of the team, Robin Stern, executive chairman, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Steve and Assia to our growing team.
“They’ve already proven a valuable addition with their experience and fresh perspective bringing a new dimension to our plans.
“Coronavirus has sharpened focus when it comes to digital transformation in the health and care space; and we want to seize the opportunity to partner with our customers on delivering real change, and Steve and Assia’s appointments will position us perfectly to do just that.”
