Richard Williams (pictured) has joined the board of Community Health Partnerships (CHP) as a non-executive director.
Catherine Mason, chairman of CHP, said of the appointment: “Richard brings a wealth of experience in real estate and finance from across the public and private sectors.
“His skills perfectly suit CHP, our purpose, and the services we provide to the NHS.
“Richard joins at an exciting time, as we seek to transform CHP to meet the infrastructure needs of our health and care partners and the significant challenges they face, not least as they recover from the COVID pandemic.”
Williams fills a vacant role and his appointment is for three years.
He said: “CHP is an extraordinary organisation that provides a unique offer to the NHS and I look forward to sharing my insight from different sectors and companies to help steer them through the changing customer landscape.
“I hope to provide a new perspective to their challenges and help guide them in future opportunities.”
Williams has over 30 years of real estate and finance experience, having held a number of executive and non-executive roles for organisations in retail, housing, healthcare, and retirement living with companies such as Aldi, McCarthy Stone, Octopus Healthcare, and St Andrews Healthcare.
He is currently chief executive of Brigid Investments, an asset owning business specialising in retirement rental property and also sits on the Boards of BexleyCo and Cognatum Property.
