TClarke Newcastle team has delivered full mechanical and electrical (M&E) services with the delivery of the new Scarborough Hospital A&E department.
The new urgent and emergency care centre was designed by IBI Group and built by Integrated Health Projects, a partnership of Vinci Construction UK and Sir Robert McAlpin.
The major $47m project investment began in 2022 with a groundbreaking ceremony and includes a two-storey new build combining and expanding the current emergency department, same-day emergency care, and an acute medical unit.
Originally estimated to be opened in spring 2024, this then moved to summer, and now November 2024.
This Is The Coast reported that the building will be handed over by the contractor the week commencing 18th November.
