In response to the huge potential of sustainable hospital development in China over the coming years, a special event is being held in London later this week.
The UK-China Green Hospital Design Summit will be held at The Building Centre on Thursday.
It has been organised in conjunction with MIC International Communication and China Design Centre and is supported by the Chinese Hospital Association, Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Centre, and UKTI.
Leaders of Chinese healthcare groups will be in attendance, providing a rare opportunity for UK hospital design and development professionals to exchange ideas with key decision-makers.
The design summit will include speakers from BDP, ARUP, Medical Architecture, Penoyre & Prasad, Healthcare UK, Shaw Healthcare, BRE, PRP Architects, and a number of organisations from the Chinese healthcare sector.
The Chinese delegation is interested in seeking sustainable design approaches, green technologies, materials and equipment for hospital development and are looking for collaboration opportunities in the UK.
