CHEC, a UK-based provider of community healthcare, is opening two new hospitals in Macclesfield and Loughborough.
These facilities have been created to enhance patient access to medical services while alleviating NHS waiting times.
New Macclesfield facility
The new hospital in Macclesfield will be conveniently located in the town centre, providing accessible ophthalmology and ENT services to the community.
CHEC is currently fitting out the 8,102 sqft building into a state-of-the-art clinical facility.

With its close proximity to Macclesfield bus and train stations, along with nearby parking, the new facility will ensure ease of access for patients.
This addition strengthens CHEC’s existing presence in North West England, where it already operates in Warrington, Stockport, and Manchester’s Trafford Park.
Loughborough Hospital opening in March 2025
CHEC has also confirmed the upcoming launch of its new Loughborough hospital, set to open in March 2025.
Located in The Rushes shopping area in central Loughborough, the facility will provide ophthalmology, dermatology, and ENT services.
With excellent public transport links and nearby parking, the hospital is designed to ensure a seamless patient experience.
The Loughborough Hospital expands CHEC’s stronghold in the East Midlands, complementing its existing facilities in Leicester and Nottingham.
