Two weeks to go until judges choose their favourites

There is just two weeks to go until the judges announce the shortlist for the 2012 Building Better Healthcare Awards.

Our panel of seven industry experts, who will be overseen by healthcare commentator, Roy Lilley, will meet on 12 September to pick their favourites from the record 220 entries, with the final shortlist being announced the following day.

The judges are previous BBH Award-winning architect, Andy Law; Dr Roy Macgregor; healthcare market access specialist, Jon Wilks; patient safety expert, Patricia Young; NHS commercial director, Kevin Oxley; King’s Fund Enhancing the Healing Environment programme leader, Sarah Waller; and patient representative, Danny Daniels.

They will be choosing their favourites in all 14 main categories in classes covering building projects; technology, equipment and medical devices; sustainability; patient environment; futures; and people.

These projects will then go through to the next stage of the judging process, with the judges meeting later in the autumn to decide the final winners. They will be announced at a plush champagne reception and four-course dinner on 7 November at The Brewery in central London.

Already more than half the tables at the 500-capacity event have been booked, so to avoid disappointment save your space now.

There are also a limited number of sponsorship and exhibition packages remaining. For information on how you can get involved, email ronaldm@hpcimedia.com or stephenf@hpcimedia.com or call +44 20 7193 6869 or +44 20 7193 164.
