Imprivata has announced a collaboration with Howard Medical to extend the availability of Imprivata Medical Device Access to select medical storage carts.
The carts are sold exclusively in the UK and Ireland by Manchester-based technology solutions provider, Distec.
This new partnership will bring a new level of security for healthcare trusts and professionals across the UK.
With Imprivata Medical Device Access integrated directly into Distec-provided E-series of Howard Medical’s advanced medical carts; healthcare organisations can enforce stronger access control protocols through the use of a proximity badge tap. This capability provides consistent functionality across multiple platforms and is available for use with varying computer vendors on the carts.
