One of the UK’s largest academic health centres will benefit from optimal interoperability with Hyland’s cloud-based Enterprise Imaging solutions

Hyland has deepened its partnership with the University College London Hospitals (UCLH), which has adopted Hyland’s Enterprise Imaging SaaS solution.

UCLH, one of the country’s largest NHS foundation trusts, consists of 10 hospitals with nearly 12,000 staff members who serve more than one million patients a year.

UCLH and Hyland have worked closely together since 2017, when the trust chose Hyland’s OnBase as its enterprise content services platform due to its ability to integrate content, data, and processes, and provide seamless interoperability with Epic workflows.

That interoperability is vital, driving clinical efficiencies and minimising disruptions in care and workflows.

Advantages include consolidation of multiple image repositories and a holistic view of all medical imaging content and information, leading to reduced costs and image collaboration in a secure platform.

UCLH also will be relieved of the burden of application software and hardware management.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership with UCLH and contributing to helping the organisation achieve enterprise-wide interoperability,” said Jamey Baszuk, Hyland’s assistant vice president of international healthcare sales.

“We’re excited to support UCLH with eliminating imaging silos to help deliver improved patient care and outcomes.

“UCLH staff can now centrally manage and consolidate all disparate medical images and content in our private cloud.”
