OneMedicalGroup has strengthened its senior team with two new board appointments.
Mark Shepherd joins as chief operating officer and Bob Marshall as chief finance officer.
The group has a multi-million pound property portfolio and delivers primary care solutions across the UK. In addition to the new board appointments, Caroline Day moves into a new role as group organisational development director; and Jackie Hill has been appointed group head of nursing to add more clinical capacity to the leadership team, to meet the future demands of the health market.
Shepherd joins OneMedicalGroup after having spent the last five years based in the US with a global retail operator, with responsibilities for worldwide innovation, delivery and operations.
He said: “Patient care expectations are evolving and it is simply no longer a 9-5 model. In my new role, I will be looking to embrace innovation and technology to deliver the best patient experience, which is at the core of OneMedicalGroup’s offer.
“The key is looking at how patients want to access healthcare, and with our dedicated team, I will lead the delivery of quality, bespoke, convenient and effective services that put the patient at the heart of everything we do.”
Marshall qualified as an accountant at KPMG and has held a variety of senior finance roles. He is responsible for the financial operations of OneMedicalGroup and the development commercial growth strategy across the network.
Day, who has been with the group for four years, will continue to develop and deliver high levels of patient care services throughout the network.
