Radiometer’s new AQURE point-of-care (POC) management system is providing hospitals with a customisable, flexible and scalable software solution with the capability to monitor and control the performance of POC testing platforms from any supplier.
The system encompasses a device centre with online analyser, parameter and QC status instantly available. It supports Radiometer blood gas and immunoassay analysers, enabling remote access and control, and its open architecture also allows monitoring and control of non-Radiometer POC devices.
Built on Microsoft technology, the system makes it easier to integrate into existing hospital IT infrastructures and enables automatic capture and storage of data and transfer of patient results to the HIS/LIS.
It features a customisable dashboard that provides a clear overview of the POC testing environment, simplifying procedures and supporting straightforward data interpretation to cut the time taken to read results.
A spokesman said: “With interactive overview reports and an audit trail to provide traceability, systems are always inspection ready. Regulatory compliance is further enhanced by allowing for remote management of operators and their ongoing competency-based training assessment.”
