NHS Oxfordshire is seeking a development partner to deliver health facilities as part of the redevelopment of the community hospital site at King's End in Bicester. The principle requirement is for the appointed developer to finance, design, construct, and maintain new buildings suitable for accommodating an ambulatory care facility, including outpatient clinics, an out-of-hours service and minor injuries unit; and a 12-bed sub-acute unit. Bidders are encouraged to propose solutions which incorporate the sub-acute unit as part of a new larger independent care home or bedded care facility from which the PCT will occupy a portion of the building.
