Bookwise Solutions software saves time and reduces the risk of double booking of rooms

UK healthcare scheduling expert BookWise Solutions has completed its latest software installation in the Education Centre at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The software has helped the Trust with regard to efficiency and streamlined its room booking process.

'The implementation of this system has transformed the way the Trust manages rooms, with pressure lifted off the staff’s shoulders,' explained BookWise Managing Director Denise Williamson.

'The installation of the Education Version 6 software, which incorporates a modern, user-friendly booking system, has helped streamline the whole approach at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and shows room availability on a web-based platform. This has resulted in efficient use of the available facilities, with more time now available to be put to use elsewhere.'

'The introduction of Education Version 6 has relieved some of the pressure on the staff and the margin of human error has been vastly reduced,' said Jon Bryan, postgraduate medical education advisor at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. 'We no longer have the risk of double booking our facilities and have saved time by having the ability to produce reports at the click of a button.'

BookWise software packages are in use at many hospitals across the UK, including The Queen’s Hospital, Burton-on-Trent, Royal Derby Hospital, Nottingham City Hospital, King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. In addition to specialist scheduling software products with a focus on education and study, BookWise supplies the healthcare sector with oncology, outpatient and renal care products.
