National business development executive appointed by MedeAnalytics

Bernard McBride to help commissioners make the most of data

MedeAnalytics has appointed Bernard McBride as its national business development executive.

His main responsibility will be to help NHS organisations to implement solutions, enabling them to make the best use of their data, and to ease the transition to GP commissioning.

McBride has more than 20 years’ experience selling and promoting products and solutions to the healthcare sector, with previous roles at Alexion Pharma UK and CHKS.

He said of the new role: “I look forward to delivering the support and solutions necessary to enable both current clients and prospects within the healthcare sector to maximise their use of data to achieve greater efficiencies and better serve their patients.”

He added: “As the NHS faces ever more pressure to reduce costs while continuing to deliver high standards of care, analysing the performance and efficiency of different NHS departments using accurate and granular data is increasingly important. Through providing a range of ‘Software as a Service’ information and data solutions to the NHS, MedeAnalytics enables healthcare organisations to outsource their data and information analysis needs. This reduces costs and increases efficiency within each department, giving patients a better quality service while delivering greater value; and I feel proud to be a part of that.”
