British furniture manufacturer accentu8 has launched its new Lotus Lounge Collection of static seating augmenting its range of contemporary rise and recline seating.
Designed by Angela Gidden MBE, the Lotus Lounge Collection represents the company’s first move into static furniture following its launch of a six-strong model line-up of contemporary styled manual and motor-powered motion furniture in 2014.
Complementing its Lotus rise and recline model, the new collection comprises an armchair, high back chair and sofa in a choice of compact, standard or large sizes according to user and interior design requirements.
Continuing the Lotus design-style of a slim-line and compact form, with a echoes of the classic 1960s modernist and Scandinavian design, the new collection will set the benchmark for future accentu8 static furniture introductions scheduled for this year.
Designed for commercial, healthcare and hospitality applications, Lotus is available in a range of fabric options to suit a wide range of interior design requirements.
According to accentu8: “With Lotus our emphasis is very much on light, modern slim design with a classic contemporary look that is perennially on trend. Our disruptive approach of introducing contemporary design-led approach to the traditional rise and recline furniture sector is paying dividends with demand for complementary static furniture heralded by our popular Lotus range.”
