New DRS fully-automated non-mydriatic digital retinal imaging camera
Harlow, UK - 27th April 2011 - Haag-Streit UK is pleased to offer the new DRS fully-automated non-mydriatic digital retinal imaging camera, which was unveiled at Optrafair 2011.
The DRS fully-automated retinal camera been designed to maximise patient flow, without compromising on image quality. Its compact ergonomic design features an integrated PC with an easy-to-use intuitive touch screen interface that requires minimal operator training. It boasts a 160GB hard drive, enabling the storage of thousands of images, whilst the low-power LED flash helps to ensure patient comfort.
The DRS supports single or multiple field acquisition, providing seven different standards within a 45° field. Single-button operation enables the DRS to automatically detect the patient, self-align to the patient’s eye, focus on the retina, adjust the flash level and capture and store a high-quality image in less than 30 seconds per eye.
Images can be stored directly onto the DRS system or a USB memory stick, printed, or transmitted to another PC or network via the integrated Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection.
