Imperial has confirmed the appointment of Sharon Silcock as business development manager of its specialist parking management operation, Open Parking.
Taking responsibility for the company’s interests in the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland; Silcock joins the company with extensive experience in the parking sector, having previously been sales account manager for NCP and sales director of Parking Scheme.
“I’m really pleased to be joining a company that shares my passion for first-class customer service,” says Silcock.
“And I’m relishing the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of Open Parking’s refreshing approach to parking management for the benefit of organisations and their customers in the healthcare, leisure, education and retail sectors right across the north of the country.”
With a track record in account management, business development and customer service, Silcock will be based in the North West and joins Open Parking as it continues to consolidate its reputation as a progressive parking management operation for clients in both the private and public sectors.
She will be working closely with Justin Ben-Nathan, who joined Open Parking last year to focus on the company’s business development and account management in the southern half of the country.
“Optimising the experience of customers is vital for shopping malls, universities, hospitals and major transport and leisure venues, and the effective management of parking facilities, lies at the very heart of the customer journey,” says Open Parking’s sales team manager, Mandy Watson.
“We’re delighted to welcome Sharon to the team. From first-hand experience in the parking sector, she knows what it takes to provide clients with the reassurance of delivering service excellence for their customers. She has also had great success implementing effective salary sacrifice parking schemes for the benefit of employees, so she has the insight and expertise to deliver parking management solutions that truly reflect the needs of all service users.”
Prior to her roles at NCP and Parking Scheme, Sharon Silcock held a range of customer service roles in the financial and communications sectors before setting up and successfully managing her own business in the construction supplies field.
